About Us

Control Engineers, established in the year 2000, is a premier provider of electrical engineering, control system engineering, system integration, programming and turnkey construction support to a wide variety of industrial, water/wastewater, food processing, mining, municipal and semiconductor clients.  Our aim is to provide the highest quality services to clients in the Northwest and throughout the United States.

Our success is based upon our knowledge of the complete electrical scope of a project; from the power distribution system through the control system to programming and startup.  We provide our clients with the most efficient, highly integrated solutions to complex projects.

Our staff is currently licensed as Professional Electrical Engineers in all western states and many others across North America.  We have the experience and ability to perform on a wide variety of projects and tackle projects or any size, from the small, single element improvement to the large multidiscipline effort including electrical and control system design, construction, programming, startup and commissioning.

Services We Provide

  • Full system and facility design, including power distribution, controls, instrumentation, P&IDs for wastewater, water, industrial and food processing applications.

  • PLC, RTU and DCS programming, design and troubleshooting for a wide variety of PLCs including Allen Bradley, Modicon/Schneider, Siemens, Opto22, Fisher Provox and DeltaV.  Partner Affiliations with Rockwell Automation, Wonderware, Opto22  Schneider Electric and National Instruments.  We are a Rockwell Automation Recognized System Integrator, and a Wonderware System Platform Certified System Integrator.

  • Control system and SCADA system design, configuration, troubleshooting and installation including FactoryTalk View (including PlantPAX), Wonderware System Platform, Emerson iFix, Opto22 as well as several DCS systems.

  • Telemetry system design, configuration, implementation and troubleshooting employing spread spectrum or fixed frequency radio, fiberoptic and landline media.

  • Control Panel design and UL508A fabrication.

  • Staff affiliations with Instrumentation, Systems, and Automation Society; Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers; National Fire Protection Association.
